Hunt VPN for Android

Installing it

1. 01

   Install OpenVPN Connect first

   Get OpenVPN Connect from Google Play. Hunt VPN picks the server and hands the config over; Connect makes the connection. Without it there is nowhere to hand off to.

2. 02

   Download the APK

   Chrome warns that this kind of file can harm your device — it says that for every APK. Choose Download anyway.

3. 03

   Allow your browser to install apps

   Open the file from Chrome's download bar. Android asks once whether that app may install others; turn it on, then tap the file again.

   Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps

4. 04

   Clear the Play Protect warning

   Play Protect flags anything it has not seen on the Play Store. Tap More details, then Install anyway.

A sideloaded app does not update itself — new builds go on this page; install them over the top and your saved servers survive.
